Anthrax Post New Song Clip Of "Fight 'Em 'Till You Can't Fight No More" Online
An audio clip of a rehearsal/demo version of a brand new ANTHRAX song, entitled "Fight 'Em 'Till You Can't Fight No More," can be heard on the intro page to the band's official web site. ANTHRAX guitarist Scott Ian previously described the track as "straight-up 1988[-style thrash] through a 2007 filter."
In a December 2007 online chat, ANTHRAX drummer Charlie Benante stated about the group's new material, "It's hard nowadays to try and relive 1986. We were different in 1986. We can reach inside and pull out some of the old school and make ourselves make that music, but we don't. The song 'Fight 'Em 'Till You Can't' is as organic as it gets; it's not forced and it is like an old-school thrash song."
New photos of the group can be found at this location.
In a recent interview with Banned Promotions, new ANTHRAX singer Dan Nelson — whose voice was previously described by Scott Ian as "like [previous ANTHRAX frontman] John Bush on steroids" — stated about how he landed the gig, "I contacted Rob Caggiano [ANTHRAX guitarist] about jamming through MySpace. I originally laid down tracks for a side project Rob is doing. He told me after I was done recording he thought I would be a good fit for ANTHRAX. I was contacted by Charlie [Benante, drums] shortly after and auditioned. The rest, as they say, is history!"
Regarding the direction of the band's upcoming CD, Nelson said, "Things are going great. Fans are going to be real pleased with the new album. It's heavy as hell, and definitely has those thrash elements that ANTHRAX is best known for!"
A song from Nelson's previous band DEVILSIZE, titled "Taken", can be heard at this location.

They wrote their best songs with Joey yes but John has a much better voice than Joey and can sing well live. He even (in my opinion) sings the Joey songs better. I remember being so excited back in 2005 when Anthrax were announced for Download and then being so p***ed off that they announced the reunion soon after. On the day, the band were on top form but Belladonna ruined the whole thing with his toneless wailing, really spoiled the whole set for me.
I think it's fair to say that he's the "real" Anthrax vocalist because that's where you get songs like "I Am The Law" and "Keep It In The Family". But Bush as a vocalist is the superior vocalist. Like Picard is superior to Kirk :P
Though I think we both agree that both were better than Neil Turbin.

I agree with OZ - Belladonna was a great nu-metal vocalist - rap style vocals - but he is nothing compared to John Bush. He doesn't have the strength in his voice like Bush has. I have NEVER liked Belladona's voice, and I would only tolerate it because I liked Anthrax. When Belladonna left them, I actually was drawn back to Anthrax under John Bush. I disagree Oz, I think Kirk was the best star ship captain..lol.

That's coom mate I don't take it personally like I hope you don't take my opinion as the attack on you because it isn't. As I said I wasn't impressed with Belladonna at all when I saw them but that's just me. It was probably a wet dream for some people. Kerrang magazine (for all that crap's worth) even gave their set 5 out of 5. It's all opinion broseph.

Hmm, weird thing is I'd just put my Anthrax DVD on when I came across this article. Not sure what to make of that. Though it is very rough and in early stages, I'll just wait until they're nearer completion. I really wish John Bush was still there though, they should have never done the Belladonna reunion.
