Iced Earth Confirmed for 2008 Via De La Planta Festival in Madrid, Spain

ICED EARTH will be performing at the VIA DE LA PLATA FESTIVAL in Madirid, Spain on July 11. Iron Maiden and Slayer are also on the bill. More ICED EARTH tour dates for 2008 are in the works, so stayed tuned for upcoming announcements.

As previously reported, ICED EARTH will be appearing at the following 2008 festivals:

Actually, it is Iced Earth that are opening for Nightwish in Quebec....tickets were on sale for Nightwish wayyyy before Iced Earth were added to the bill........not that it matters.....2 great bands just the same.

Guess we won't know til the show happens. The news and dates were straight from Iced Earth's MySpace fron only a day or two ago. It could be wrong, or it could be that things got switched around.

slayer can put on a good show, so can maiden, but i hear they usually don't play classic stuff, usually they mainly play new stuff, i think the new maiden can't compare to the old iron maiden, and if i was in spain, i would be going to that concert, and i would be getting messed up on weed
