The Pulse of Radio reports that ATREYU, AVENGED SEVENFOLD and BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE are all expected to participate in the 2008 Taste of Chaos tour. ATREYU will headline the trek, which is tentatively slated to begin in March. Dates, venues and additions to the lineup will be announced in the weeks ahead. Representatives for the bands were unable to confirm their involvement in the show before an official announcement was made by the Taste of Chaos organizers.

Taste of Chaos is produced by the creators of the Warped Tour, which also began announcing bands last week.

Previous Taste of Chaos acts have included 30 SECONDS TO MARS, THE USED and MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE.

ATREYU is promoting its major label debut, "Lead Sails Paper Anchor", which arrived this past summer, while AVENGED SEVENFOLD issued its self-titled fourth album at the end of October. BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE will release its sophomore effort, "Scream Aim Fire", in late January.

These bands are not extremely talented musicians, Necrophagist is a band full of extremely talented musicians. And they aren't math metal by far, so I assume you really have no concept of genres or what really is metal. Melodies and singing aren't their downfall, otherwise we wouldn't worship a band like Iron Maiden (whose melodies and clean singing are the inspiration for countless metal bands, big or small). My guitarists can play anything written by any one of these three bands, it's really not a technical accomplishment. If you want difficult guitars, listen to Death or Between the Buried and Me.

And to say we're upset is a little bit assuming that we're emo or even register these bands as something worth being upset over. We really just hate them, and there's nothing more to it than that. They're overhyped bands that produce watered down versions of what we hold sacred. Yes, we're metal elitists; but we know what we like. These bands aren't the problem, what they have brought to the metal community is: namely, trend following kids who show no respect for real metal and only like whats on the walls of Hot Topic. And I'm not saying you're not free to like what you like, but we're not going to let bands undeserving of being called metal take away what belongs to real metal fans.

B) They are way better than Atreyu, A7X, or BFMV
