Two More Bands Announced For Wacken Open Air 2008

ENEMY OF THE SUN, WARBRINGER are the latest acts confirmed for next summer's Wacken Open Air Festival, set to take place July 31 - August 2, 2008 in Wacken, Germany.

The festival will be headlined next year by IRON MAIDEN. The current line-up includes: AT THE GATES, AUTUMN, AVANTASIA, AXXIS, CARCASS, CHILDREN OF BODOM, CREMATORY, DESTRUCTOR, DREAM OF AN OPIUM EATER, ENEMY OF THE SUN, EXCREMENTORY GRINDFUCKERS, GOREROTTED, GORGOROTH, HATEBREED, IRON MAIDEN, KAMELOT, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, KREATOR, KRYPTERIA, LORD BELIAL, NIGHTWISH, OBITUARY, POWERWOLF, PRIMORDIAL, SABATON, SALTATIO MORTIS, SONATA ARCTICA, THE BONES, WARBRINGER.

no chance mate. unfortunatly Australia is too far off the regular beaten path of most world tours.
although, Wacken originated as a small festival for german bands and got bigger every year, its possible for something like that to happen elsewhere. location and fan numbers depending though.
but i met a girl from NZ at the beer tent in august and a few yanks a few tents over from us so no matter where your from you can get to wacken..

oh and in reply to the band news.. who??? never heard of either, ah well, check them out while bodom are playing i guess

I'd really dig to see 13 of them bands perform before my eyes, maybe I'll land some money early next year and bite the bullet!
