The Absence Speaks Out About Ex-Drummer

The Absence has issued a statement regarding recent actions purportedly taken by their former drummer, Jeramie Kling. Guitarist Peter Joseph comments:
"Finally! After almost 2 months of childish drama we have regained control of The Absence Myspace from our now ex-drummer, Jeramie Kling. Unfortunately, over that time he has tried his best to destroy our reputation as well as our relationship with our fans by not only posting several bogus press releases and blogs but having the nerve to respond rudely to questions and emails from fans and signing MY name! So please disregard any rude or hurtful responses to any questions as they were from Jeramie out of spite, we apologize.
As many of you are aware we had to drop of the Dying Fetus tour abruptly- the actual reason being the theft of our tour van and trailer by Jeremy, he knows how bad this could hurt us as we are still trying to push the release of our latest record- Riders of the Plague, and we're dead in the water without transportation. We are currently going through all legal actions necessary in order to get back our van and trailer but it is difficult because this caught us off guard as we never thought he would do anything as immature or insane as this.
Do not worry, we will not continue to let any of this affect The Absence, we will continue touring, writing and recording without missing a beat. We will do whatever it takes to continue to bring our music to our fans across America and the world. Stay metal and we'll you see you all soon."

sounds like the ex-drummer is quite the douchebag. we should have a poll for douchebag of the year and maybe have an award sent to them.
