"Huge" Maynard James Keenan Fan Gets "V Is For Vagina" Tattoo

Band Photo: Tool (?)
A "huge" fan of TOOL frontman Maynard James Keenan purchased a copy of the debut album by Maynard's new band PUSCIFER, "V is for Vagina", on the day of its release and had its title promptly tattooed "in the most appropriate place." A three-and-a-half-minute video clip capturing all the action can be viewed on YouTube or below.
"V is for Vagina" sold 27,000 in the United States in the first week of release to debut at position No. 25 on The Billboard 200 chart. The record, which was released through Maynard's own label, features contributions from a number of artists, including PRIMUS drummer Tim Alexander, ex-NINE INCH NAILS member Danny Lohner, producer Alan Moulder and actress Milla Jovovich.
Keenan also has a merchandise company under the Puscifer banner, and plans to make several short films as part of the project.
TOOL will begin a new North American tour on November 14 in Austin, Texas and issues a DVD called "Vicarious" on December 18.

are you guys serious, the camera adds ten pounds, she probably is as thin as twig in reality, so judging by the fact that when she gets older she might gain some weight, that might be disgusting.
good point demoncleaner, and juicy.
i wouldnt ever get a tatoo, but if i got one, my mind would never even slightly cross with V is for Vagina no matter how funny it is.

There is so much I could say about about trendiness and anyone with money can have all they stupid tats they want and whores. But I want to see her with the next bf she has that hates Tool and whatever other bands this guy is in and see what she does then. And yeah, check back with her after she's had her 8th kid by her 6th husband and see if she's still all proud of that "one tattoo by that one group that put out that one cd then never got back together". What a mindless trollop. Feed her to any guy that will take advantage of her and give her $10 for a ride home afterward.
I agree, she looks alright. But tattoos are just plain dumb. Have you ever seen anyone with brains and class - hell, even brains OR class - with a tattoo? I sure haven't. And "V is for vagina" is gonna look even more disgusting than your average tattoo when this girl's older, fatter, saggier, wrinklier, has stretch-marks, and so on and so forth.
I've never liked tattoos, and this changes nothing.
Now playing: Porcupine Tree - "Strip The Soul"

I know I do. Strangers make me so mad!
But seriously, why do certain mods get all upset when ppl here get all hostile? This is a METAL site after all. Last time I checked, metal wasn't about rose gardens, butterflies and sunshine. Just let ppl get hostile. Or do we need to start carrying around parental advisory labels comrade Gore?
Great band, album and song Psythe! A favorite of mine.
Have you checked out the new one? S'good stuff...
I have 0% ink.
I don't have anything that important to say with my skin for the rest of my life. The girlfriend has a tiny spider on her toe from when she first turned 18, she loves it one day and hates it the next. At least it has a low profile. So in answer to your question, yeah, I live with a grad student with brains and class AND a tattoo.
Now Playing: Meshuggah - "Closed Eye Visuals"

My woman has 3 tats: Tinkerbell on her ankle, a scorpion on her foot (she's a proud scorpio) and a tramp stamp on her back. She's a college grad and makes way more money than I ever will. But all of her stuff is tasteful and she would NEVER get conned into getting a tat just to impress me or anyone else. Me on the other hand once got Metallica's "scary guy" on my arm back when they were metal. Since then I've covered it with an Autobot symbol. The lesson here is NEVER get a band tat cause they might just change.
Lol, RM? is right, chances are a girl who gets a "V is for Vagina" tattoo doesn't really give a sh** about what people think of it, nor what it'll be like when she's older. People who like tattoos tend to think a lot differently about them in my experience, well the one's who aren't idiots anyway. I've seen full back Slayer tattoos with Jesus coming out of Satan's mouth and the guy loved it haha.
Now Playing: Hammers Of Misfortune - "The Bastard Sapling"
hahahahah, I guess a tattoo on the toe isn't such a bad thing- I sure don't go around looking at people's feet. Hell, I rarely look at my own, hahah. At least on the toe you can hide the thing when necessary. Like if you ever attend the White House or something, say.
Porcupine Tree are one of my favourite bands at the moment. Brilliant musicians. I've got Deadwing, In Absentia, Fear of a Blank Planet, and Lightbulb Sun. In Absentia's the one I listen to most often, but Fear is really, really cool. Top stuff.
In response to SlayerRulz's question in post 13, there are more metal things than giving someone grief on an anonymous online forum. In fact, I'd have to say that that has exactly nothing to do with metal, or being metal. Unlucky about the Metallica tat, shoulda gone with Slayer, they never did change much, hahah.
hahah, Dark_Funeral, that's fairly hilarious. If only because he's a bus driver.
Now playing: Dream Theatre - "Endless Sacrifice"
Psythe
Nice collection.
If In Absentia is a favorite, I would suggest Signify. It's sort of foreshadows In Absentia better than Lightbulb Sun, as it has this dark/lonely/paranoid feel to it.
If you like Lightbulb Sun you may as well get Stupid Dream. It's very similar but I think it has a slightly stronger track set overall.
Up the Downstair was a "major" surprise. I went in thinking that their early stuff couldn't stand next to the old stuff. I've never been more wrong, it sounds just as current. "Always Never", "Fadeaway" and "Synesthesia" are excellent. Make sure you get the remastered versions of those albums, the mixes are far better.
Voyage 34 and The Sky Moves Sideways are good in their own right but I would make sure you snatch the other albums first. Only get On the Sunday of Life if you're as obsessed as I am....The only good song on that thing is "Radioactive Toy".
lol, way off topic.
Now Playing: Porcupine Tree - "Wake as a Gun"
Hahah, not living in a major city, and living in Australia, it's hard to find the good stuff sometimes. When I have the money, I tend to have to hunt around for a while. On the other hand, there's the internet, but I much prefer buying music, for the packaging as much as to support the act.
I've heard Up The Downstair is brilliant, but this is a band I'm just starting to get heavily into, so I havn't really heard of the others. On top of all that, I also need more Isis (badly), and I'm on the lookout for anything by Oceansize, who are meant to be a progressive/post-rock/indie band with a sound somewhere between Porcupine Tree and Sigur Ros. Apparently beautiful stuff, havn't actually heard anything by them. Not to mention Pelican, who I've been searching and searching for, and just can't find ANYTHING, hahah. Hurts me :(
Oh yeah- uhhh... Puscifer... I've only heard one song, but loved it. Rev 22:20. Anyone know what the rest of the stuff is like?
Now playing: Katatonia - "For My Demons"
Isis rocks my socks.
Panopticon is underrated but I think In the Absence of Truth may actually be better than Oceanic and that album changed the course of music for me...So yeah, I have to agree with Slugemperor, more Isis is always a good thing....I've been meaning to give Oceansize closer inspection...
Does anyone know if there is a single no humorous track on the new Puscifier or is the whole thing Maynard clowning?
Now Playing: Tomahawk - "Mescal Rite II"

i have an opeth tattoo on both of my shoulders. but even if i some day do not like their music anymore. at least the logos are cool. BTW, its just the "O" in opeth, in that beautiful design they have.
does anybody else think her tattoo looks like the trivium logo?
