Kalmah Finish Recording Rhythm Guitars

Finnish metallers KALMAH entered the studio on October 13 to begin recording its fifth full-length album. An early 2008 release is expected.
Commented KALMAH guitarist Antti Kokko: "Rhythm guitars recorded, melodies recorded and some of the solos recorded. I'm very satisfied with the result so far. Sound kicks ass even though it is pure sound and the songs, of course, sound good. Yesterday I recorded all the melodies and some of the solos. Now we have a month break and we continue with bass, keyboard, vocals and rest of the solos in December. Mixing will take place in January. During the pause we will concentrate on the shows here in Finland at the beginning of December."
KALMAH's latest CD, "The Black Waltz", entered the Finnish national album chart in March 2006 at position No. 38. The follow-up to 2003's "Swampsong" marked the group's recording debut with keyboardist Marco Sneck (POISONBLACK).
