Thus far Wacken 08 is amazing. Not even Hatebreed can ruin that.

Hatebreed is always that filler band for every metal fest it seems. I've seen them twice live and each time there was nothing that impressed me about them.

When I was younger I used to watch a metal show which aired at about 4 in the morning, and they constantly hyped Hatebreed. So I naively wasted 32 (NZ) hard earned dollars to shell out for "The Rise Of Brutality", which to date is probably the worst cd in my cd wrack. Maybe bar St Anger.

Now Playing: Hammers Of Misfortune - "Doomed Parade" (This band rules, check them out)

Looking like a good line up. I also saw Hatebreed open for Lamb of God in Toronto and it was a killer show from start to end. I am a Hatebreed fan but I do agree that they are sometimes just thrown onto a line up.

Hatebreed arent that great at all. I can listen to 1 song (any song will do as they all sound similar) and its passible, but any more than that and it grows tiresome and annoying.

But Wacken should be pretty good next year though, I hope they stream it on the net like they did this past year. This seems like a great line up.

Hatebreed and Jamey Jasta kick ass! I've seen them a few times and they always put on a good show. I met Jamey at Ozzfest this past summer and he is such a down to earth dude. He was great.
