Downhill? How so? Their single from the ATHF soundtrack was one of the best songs they've ever written and it didn't have much influence from their departed drummer.
Awesome tour, though I could do without Suicide Silence. Don't worry J, theres more dates tba

Dude, Mike Justain hadn't left the band yet when they recorded The Chosen. I mean they've been going downhill in their tours, they've been touring with a lot of sh**ty a$$ bands every since the Dimmu Borgir tour in the spring,- it was during this tour that mike left. August Burns Red sucks sh**, Unearth are the best metalcore band out there and need to stop touring with loser bands like the ones on this tour.

Eh a lot of the time they don't have a choice who they tour with, They don't have the push to tour with the best of the best all the time. If anything I'd see them touring with more metal/hardcore bands if their departed drummer had a say in who they toured with, seeing as he was ex-Red Chord.
ABR is very metalcore, that's the truth. But I dig um. Suicide Silence however. . .

Unearth is a talented band, as is Darkest Hour. ABR is metalcore in a very high degree, but I like them.

I hate the talented argument. I listen to heaps of new technical bands and most of them suck because they couldn't put a song together to save themself. Random riffs thrown together in crazy time signatures does not equal good music, it just means you can play difficult things on your instrument. Thousands of talented musicians graduate from music schools all over the world all the time, but no-one notices because they don't have what's really important, creativity and originality.
Now Playing: Lykathea Aflame - "Flowering Entities"

man, this Ben Dover guy is obsessed with homosexuals. its all he talks about. anybody who says the village people is more metal than any of these bands is...well, for lack of a better word, stupid! i've never heard Darkest Hour so i cant really comment, but Unearth is pretty badass and August Burns Red put on a damn good show when i saw them with As I Lay Dying, so this tour should be pretty cool.
now playing: Disarmonia Mundi - "Liquid Wings"

Just because a band is talented doesn't mean their music is good. Unearth are talented and their music is f***in kick a$$ though. Way the f*** more metal than hardcore, at least their new album is anyways. ABR is sh**ty generic christian metiocre metalcore bullsh**. Unearth makes them look like complete sh**.

Unearth are hands down the only reason to go to this tour, seems like that band is going a bit downhill since the departure of Mike Justain
