All these bands kick a$$ except Sanctity, they're just some loser band think they'll be the next Trivium. Seriously man If ur gonna copy a bands sound copy a good one.

I hope they come back to Iowa. Saw Machine Head with Lamb of God last time and it kicked ass! And Sanctity are much better than Trivium currently. Sanctity are no where near as big of Metallica wannabes as Trivium (which boggles my mind anyway).

Hate to break it to you guys but Lamb Of God f***in owns Machine Head. Machine Head are good but LOG IS THE f***IN BEST. Sanctity suck though, those guys are totally ripping off Triviums sound, which is an obvious rip off of Metallica. LOG and MH good, Trivium and Sanctity bad, bottom line.

ok to the 2 posters above me (ed head and fisher) not one person said machine head was better than log. and for fisher you must be seriously retarded. log has much more skill than trivium. chris adler would rape the sh** out of the trivium douche. i saw them at the log tour and the drummers set was soo gay that he had studed spikes on his bass drum. also trivium steels sh** from megadeth but mainly metallica. they stole a part of the she wolf solo in one song. and finally it is a well known fact that at least 98% of the people are gonna be going to see arch enemy like myself

Seriously Lamb Of Gods playing totally kicks Trivium in the face. Actually who cares which ones are better musicians, LOG's music in general is just way the f*** better. --LOG --pure f***in american metal

Arch Enemy owns everyone you guys are bullsh**ting about. Aside from the melodic genius Amott has, his days with Carcass have spawned forth countless goregrind, death metal, and melodic death metal bands.

Why even bring Trivium into this conversation? Yes they were on the UK tour but not the US, so there's no point of talking about them when they're not on this tour.

I have to agree with Cynic on the Archenemy thing, they arent very original at all. The only real reason that they are as popular as they are is because they have a female singer who can do the Metal scream. Not to say that i don't enjoy a song or two from them, but they are very much cookie-cutter metal.

Can somene please tell me of another band with that gimmick that is also slightly decent metal?

What gimmick? you mean screaming? there's tons of kick a$$ bands that scream. Or are you talking about the female vocalist that screams.

The fem Vocalilist of course. The scream thing is certaintly no gimmick, it's become practically a staple of Metal singers these days, and most of the time it's a nice touch to the genre. I just wanted to hear about any other bands with the same lady-vocalist thing that have distinguished themselves musically.
