Cryptopsy has been confirmed as a headliner for the Xtreme Benefest
Canadian death metallers Cryptopsy will be headlining the Xtreme Benefest at the Royal Oak Theater in Royal Oak, Michigan, near Detroit, on Saturday November 16th, 2002. This two-day event (November 15-16) will serve as a benefit concert for former Testament/Death guitarist James Murphy (who was diagnosed with a brain tumor last August), and will feature "some of the sickest and most brutal death metal, grindcore, and gore metal bands" in the world. Other artists scheduled to perform include Internal Bleeding, Internal Suffering, Gorgasm, Devourment, Waco Jesus, Summon, Regurtitation, Exploding Zombies, Spinecast and many others.
