Trouble Drummer To Launch Solo EP In Early June
TROUBLE drummer Jeff "Oly" Olson will launch his debut RETRO GRAVE EP, and new web site this Tuesday, June 5. The self-titled EP, "Retro Grave" is Olson's first solo project that will include five tracks with all instruments and vocals recorded by Olson. The song "Kid Ignoble", originally recorded for the "Retro Grave" EP, has been pulled so that Chuck Robinson (TROUBLE bassist) can tweak it with Olson and release it on Olson's debut full-length, titled "Again", to be released in early 2008.
Jeff "Oly" Olson is currently on tour with TROUBLE in Europe for their "2007 Simple Mind Condition Tour" which will include the closing night at the three-day Sweden Rock Festival on June 9, opening for MOTÖRHEAD and SCORPIONS.
Previews of the "Retro Grave" EP are available at www.myspace.com/retrograve. The EP will be available to purchase when the web site and EP launch on Tuesday, June 5 at RetroGraveMusic.com.

I just have Pentagrams "Be Forewarned" album and it's awesome. WFG are pretty good to, that's some old school sh**. Haven't checked out Saint Vitus but will if I can - My doom collection's growing exponentially at the moment, especially the Funeral Doom.
Now Playing: Wargasm - "Sudden Death"

Yes! Thergothon are brilliant, "Crying Blood And Crimson Snow" is an incredible song. Same with Evoken, Skepticism etc. I've been meaning to check out Winter, I've heard their name thrown about abit. disEMBOWLment are perfection, you should check out the band Esoteric, they're quite similar Funeral/Death and pretty good.
BTW, if any of you want to check out a Funeral Doom song I recorded last year for fun (literally everything was improvised, one take for guitar and vocals each so it's pretty sh** haha) it's here - http://rapidshare.com/files/34344848/Cruel_World.mp3.html
Now Playing: Xentrix - "Desperate Remedies"

All awesome, never heard Dolorian though will check them out. Another sweet doom genre is the extreme/drone bands like Khanate, Burning Witch, Toadliquor, and Goatsnake. Check em out if you haven't already (though Goatsnake's more classic doom stuff). Also Dark Metal stuff like Bethlehem's pretty awesome too.
Now Playing: Sacred Reich - "Layed to Rest"
