Parkway Drive Reveal Plans For New Album and Tour
Aussie metalcore regime Parkway Drive has announced that they are heading to the studio in May to record their follow-up to 2005's Killing With A Smile. Teaming up again with their producer-in-crime, Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz, the band will record at Zing Studios in Boston.
"Fans can expect a heavier, faster and more precise album than Killing With A Smile," proclaims frontman Winston McCall. "The new songs mark two years of intense touring, refinement and experience. The songs we are writing are the next step for us. We're simply putting them out there for people to make of them what they will, but rest assured as far as we are concerned this is the album we have always wanted to write."
Currently on a US tour with Comeback Kid, It Dies Today, This Is Hell and Endwell, Parkway Drive will be distributing their destruction upon the masses this summer with a tour of Europe and Japan followed by select dates on the Vans Warped Tour.
