Gory Blister Part Ways With Singer and Announce Replacement
Long-running Italian technical death metallers GORY BLISTER have parted ways with vocalist Adry Bellant, who sang on the group's last album, 2006's "Skymorphosys". A replacement frontman has already been found in the shape of Clode, formerly of SALMORAR and HATEFILES.
Clode will make his live debut with GORY BLISTER next month when the group embarks on a headlining tour of Italy.
GORY BLISTER is currently working on material for the follow-up to "Skymorphosis", tentatively due later in the year. The as-yet-untitled CD will contain eight songs and a possible bonus track. A European tour will follow.
"Skymorphosys" came out in January 2006 via Holland's Mascot Records. The CD, which contains "14 tracks, 52 minutes of pure, fast and warm death metal," was recorded at Fear Studio and was produced by GORY BLISTER and Gabriele Ravaglia. The cover artwork was handled by B-Lial of Hybreed Corp.

Hopefully this new guy is alright, Gory Blister are a great band with probably the stupidest name in metal. I hope the new guy can break out of the "I'm Chuck Schuldiner on TSOP" sound.
