A brand new CHIMAIRA song, entitled "Resurrection", has been posted online on the band's MySpace page. The track is the title cut of the Cleveland band's upcoming CD, which will be in stores in North American on March 6 via Ferret Music.

CHIMAIRA began recording "Resurrection" on October 2 with the production team of Jason Suecof and Andy Sneap (MACHINE HEAD, ARCH ENEMY). The band filmed a video for the title track off "Resurrection" on December 6-7 in the Los Angeles area. The group will headline "Chimaira Christmas 7" on Wednesday, December 27 at the House of Blues in Cleveland, Ohio. Also scheduled to appear are DEMIRICOUS, FOREVER IN TERROR and BOWEL.

I had a chance to listen to the new Chimaira track Resurrection and I a very impressed. Now what the rest of the CD is going to sound like remains unheard. I loved “Pass Out of Existence, I loved “Impossibility of Reason” but did not care to much for the self-titled CD Chimaira Chimaira. So far it looks to me that they are going re redeem themselves. I cant wait until the release of the new CD. Keep it metal Chimaira, you guys kik ass.
