As symbolism goes, it's hard to think of anything more fitting than what transpired during Guns N' Roses' 'November Rain,' at the band's hometown performance Tuesday night. The show, held at L.A.'s Gibson Ampitheatre, became the second-to-last night of the tour after frontman Axl Rose announced the band was scrapping the last two weeks of the tour to concentrate on finishing its long-anticipated album, 'Chinese Democracy.'
As the pyrotechnics came flying down, the drums literally caught fire. Depending on your perspective, the perfect metaphor was either when the drum kit sizzled behind the explosive perfomance, with Rose seated at the piano, or when he quipped afterward, "That's a first: The f***ing drums caught fire. I like that. We might just 'Spinal Tap' the drummer. Blow him up."

When this album does come out in March 2009 not 2006 everybody will be into something new,Axl Rose will not make history,he will be history and to say to make history without Slash is pure bollox,for a start he would'nt be where he is now without Slash,Slash made Guns N' Roses with his ledgendary guitar riffs and deserves to keep the name of Guns N' Roses,not that crying c*** sucker Rose and for those who have'nt realised yet...There is no Guns N' Roses anymore,there once was a great band called this but it no longer excists,just a down and out lead singer who is trying to re-invent himself and a band that once was one of the best bands ever,will never be the same Guns N' Roses so don't kid yourselves and anybody who was a fan of this band from the beginning will understand.......Guns N' Roses are history!

Rose is best known for Guns N' Roses,but if I went jumping off stages and getting arrested and battering my missus I bet I would be just as popular as him,remember SLASH played a BIG part of this band and deserves more ,Axl Pose is a spoilt little bastard who gets his own way like a kid in a candy store,seen them twice this year hoping that this band would live up to the old one,and they sucked,don't get me wrong but I am a fan since 1987 and in Dublin this year I seen them and they sucked and thought maybe Axl was having a bad day so went to see them here in Wembley and they still sucked,he could'nt even finish the set,he has got old and fat and can't sing,shout maybe but face it ,he's f***ed,Slash and the other ex members still have it,seen VR at Hammersmith last year and f***,they rocked the house down,can't wait for the day VR head line and Axl and his hired hands support them,that will be awsome,so suck my d*** all you c*** suckers,GO SUCK AXL'S c***!

Two sold out wembley shows, great reviews...he couldn't finish the encore due to illness, read up on sh** danno. Your lucky he didn't cancel, He is some advice...STO LISTENING AND FOLLOWING AXL IF YOU DON'T LIKE HIM. VR SUCKS, ANY ROCK FAN CAN SEE THAT SCOTT IS A FRAUD. Duff is a bag lady and Slash now does car commercials, wow so hard core, Matt is the only one that is missed, then again he wasn't an original player so you all shouldn't like him as well, right?

danno you never saw them in concert this year did you? If you had you would know that Axl is in great shape, He tore through the stage, one end to another the whole time he was up there. All the stuff you guys say about Axl is unoriginal, the same sh** a 2 bit reporter for a small news paper would say. Please don't listen to the upcoming album, your virgin ears can't handle it. What band topped the excitement of GNR in 2006? Oh and I never did see quotes that the other members were fired, read Mick Walls article,from today, he even says they left the group. Face it you all love slash and can't believe he does car commercials now. I hear Slash was seen drinking Jesus Juice with Michael Jackson last week. Axl is an easy target for the unoriginal. As a former GnR fan I do somewhat enjoy picking on the new/sort of old gard.The way Axl keep's cancelling and basically playing with their emotion's.It's kind of fun to screw with them here and there.Yes I know I need a hobby.
