SIGNIFY and IN ABSENTIA(!!!) and Deadwing are what have made converts of my friends, though I've been onboard since I stumbled upon "Stupid Dream" way back in '99.
I love the newly remastered editions of all the early albums but I still have the first prints of everything.
Hard for me to call these guys metal but they have worked that element into the formula...We have Opeth to thank, I'm sure.... Ackerfeldts solo on "Arriving" was great but Adrian Belew's solo was kindof awkward sounding on "Deadwing"....Killed that part of the song for me.

I can't wait for the new release. If you have not heard of this band then you seriously need to do so. This is truly a band that all can enjoy. I recomend the albums "Lightbulb Sun" and "Stupid Dream" to start with.
