Watch A Video Of Lordi's Halloween Bash Online
A video clip of LORDI performing on October 31 in London, England has been posted online at YouTube.com.
LORDI will release its new DVD, "Market Square Massacre", in Germany on November 3. The disc will contain the group's music videos plus the "welcome-home" concert from Helsinki last May when a record audience of 90,000 Finns welcomed their heroes back from the Eurovision Song Contest victory in Athens. It will also contain some extra material from Athens as seen on Finnish TV in May. The band also recorded a new version of their 2003 hit "Would You Love a Monsterman?", and a new music video was shot with a Halloween theme (also included on the DVD).

Lordi didnt steal gwar... im a fan of both, and lordi's look, and fist glance "SEEM" to be ripping off gwar, but the bands are both very different. LORDI, like GWAR, both dress in incredible costumes, but lordi play 80's style stadium rock... does gwar?
and stange of you to mention kiss Chupacabra_hunter, lordi's biggest influence is kiss....

First of all... "Gwar" is full 100% pure sh**... that cannot be called music... and those lyrics, well let`s just say that my 7 months old godson would write better lyrics, and also would play any instrument better than some retard_gwar...

Lordi makes damn good music, they have cool music videos, they have great comics, the whole concept is thoroughly thought through. They know what they are, they know what their influences are, and Gwar certainly is not one of them. For your information, Gwar isn't well known AT ALL in Finland, when Lordi designed the costumes and the whole concept he had never heard of gwar, Hell, he draw his first monsters when he could even read. Also, gwar isn't the first nor the last band to wear costumes/masks or have extravagant pyro effects and stage choreography.
When you think of it, Gwar and Lordi aren't like at all, the music is completely different, the lyrics are different, the costumes and the characters are different. Look deeper into it and research a bit before you make a fool out of yourselves. Lordi would laugh off these stupid comparements, they are making great money and they are touring around europe and they are just starting to work an a movie. And Lordi ROCKS! Their music is so awesome, if you like hard rock or 80's heavy metal than you can not hate Lordi. Gwar is cool and all, I just don't like their music.
Lordi isn't a half assed gwar ripoff like you think, Mr. Lordi has designed and constructed single handedly every single mask and suit the band wears, he desings the stage, paints the album covers, designs t-shirts, writes and composes music, he basically is doing everything, he has worked on this project for over 10 years now, I am so gald to see them finally take off and see some recognition for their hard work. They are such an inspiring band foro everybody.

OK Gwar are the sexpistols of monster music, none of them can play and they rely solely on their image and outrageousness to sell albums. Lordi on the other hand can play and would be just as good without there costumes in-fact most record companies told them to drop the costumes because it might detract from the quality of there music because people wouldn't take them seriously. All gwar do is bash out a few badly played songs just like the sexpistols, then squirt semen at the crowed or swear on tv and people go "OH MY GOD! I wish I could be like that I know I buy there album and wear there shirt and maybe people will stop flushing my head down the toilet"
Also if you want to make a point about how "crap lordi is" don’t just bash your face on the key board and put "SUX N00B!!!111" in at random points.

I honestly couldn't give a sh** about their image, GWAR are an awesome band and talented song writers. Just listen to the rythyms in Salaminizer, Immortal Corrupter, what f***en makes you so great you can judge their skill?
I would have bought Violence Has Arrived and Scumdogs Of The Universe without the image, I heard them on the radio first anyway.
