Flaw Recording New Material?

According to postings on the five.bolt.main message board from a source "close to the band" (possibly Jason Daunt's wife), Flaw is returning with the original lineup, sans Ryan Jhurs. The band are said to be currently writing new material in Jjason's basement. The line up is:

Chris Volz - vocals
Chris Ballinger - drums
Lance Arny - guitar
Jason Daunt - guitar

They are currently searching for a bassist.

I'll buy it. I like Flaw and Five Bolt Main. I think Chris has a great voice. I mean his mother was an opera singer and taught him how to sing.

Flaw had very good lyrics, Chris Volz had an original voice. And not to be to straight forward but for the record, Korn is the same generation as Flaw, they are nothing like Korn, and their lyrics prove that.(Korn is a good band though they should make up their mind if they want to be rap rock or metal)

Flaw were the Johnny come lately's of nu-metal (arriving in late 2001 if memory serves) and they surprised many by touring so strongly outside of their region as well as moving units here and abroad.

The second album flopped and for good reason, save for 2 songs, it was absolute sh**....The lyrics were mostly garbage (even the first album had flimsy moments but Endangered Species was actually funny)...This had to do with the band comming unglued and severe label pressure as well as a lack of support.

Volz does have a strong voice but he needs to work on making his lyrics more consistant. Their original drummer and bassist were strong components and with only 2 original members remaining its going to be an uphill battle to reestablish themselves.
