LOL...post 10 is on the money, funny stuff.
Trivium is one of those bands I saw as potentially riding that metal-core thing to fame and seeing it through to genre collapse.
It's a smart move to jump off that particular band wagon at this juncture...Not unlike Korn abandoning rap-metal, leaving it to Limp Bizkit who've been a laughing stock or off the radar completely depending on who you ask, for at least 3 years now....
While Korn still suck (now more than ever) they're also still selling out venues and shifting units.
Trivium have some good sense to them whether you think they're saviors, sellouts, kids' stuff or just decent/interesting....Theres some brains and foresight in that outfit.

I'm not the biggest fan of this band but I have to admit theres some real chops in there.
Hetfield and Ulrich have been championing these guys in a lot of interviews lately, I wonder what their reaction to this song/album will be....
Theres a bit of "Holy Trinity" (Ride the Lightning-MOP-And Justice) era guitars in there and -ALOT- of Black album James Hetfield in those vocals....And some melodic punk extended "Whoaaa" gang vocals in the mix....
Some (as in me too) find this band poppy and derivative but for a catchy metal quick fix, that wasn't bad at all...better than "Detonation" to boot.
