Tyr Set Release Dates For "Ragnarok"

Faroe Islands metallers TYR will release their third album, "Ragnarok", in Europe on September 25 via Napalm Records (October 10 in the U.S.). The follow-up to 2003's "Eric the Red" was recorded at Hansen studios in Ribe, Denmark and contains "more of the same, only better," according to the band.

TYR's sophomore album, "Eric the Red", received a "proper" release earlier this year via Napalm Records. The CD was originally issued three years ago via a record company known as Tutl. The new version of the album contains two bonus tracks

TYR will be teaming up with DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER and HÄMATOM for a European tour beginning on September 6 in Berlin, Germany.

1.) They are not douchebags
2.) They can use the album title "Ragnarok" due to the fact they are a VIKING metal band, and Ragnarok is giant in Norse Mythology, do some research.
3.) Try listening to them, they are one of the most technically skilled bands to recently come out
