Don Vito Charged With Sexual Assault

Vincent Margera, 50, uncle of "Viva La Bam" star Bam Margera, was formally charged with two counts of sexual assault on a child on Wednesday (August 23), nearly a week after police arrested him following a signing at a Lakewood, Colorado, skate park.
Both counts are class-four felonies; a spokesperson for the Jefferson County District Attorney's office said the charges don't necessarily carry a mandatory prison term, but if convicted, Margera could face two years in prison and/or probation that could last from a mandatory 10 years up to lifetime supervision.
Margera, who is being represented by Pamela Mackey — the attorney who served as counsel for Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant in his sexual-assault case in Colorado — did not speak or enter a plea during Wednesday's court appearance. He is accused of inappropriately fondling or groping two girls, ages 12 and 14, during two separate incidents at a signing event at Woodward Skatepark at Colorado Mills mall Friday night. He was held in jail without bond until Monday, when he posted $50,000 bond and was released.
Mackey filed a motion requesting that Margera be allowed to leave Colorado and return to his home in Pennsylvania, and that he be allowed to travel for business, but the court rejected that petition. He is currently not allowed to leave the state without the court's permission, but district attorney's office spokesperson Pamela Russell said the travel restrictions will be revisited during Margera's next court appearance on August 28.
A spokesperson for the Margera family did not return calls for comment at press time; Mackey, who waived the reading of the charges in open court, also could not be reached for comment.

Im in NO WAY trying to defend him, but when you think about it they say they have pictures of him doing what he did. NOW THINK, if you are the one taking the pictures, don’t you think you would have noticed his wrong doing right away? I think this is just another try and get rich scheme by suing a famous person. If he did do it then he should rot in hell.

he picked the wrong state to be anywhere near a sexual assualt charge. they throw the book at you in CO and rightfully so..he also picked the wrong time and place given the jon bennet ramsey hoopla---even if an innocent mistake he could become a convicted sex felon having to register and not live nor be near children the rest of his life. I would also bet that the song mr Bam is about to release with his JackA$$ buddies about "taking Simpson anally" probably wont be coming out anytime soon...his uncle could be faced with that part too if sent to the Pen.

I do like Viva La Bam and I still think that Vito is funny, on the show. Doing something like this is utterly and completely disgusting. Korndogg, I wasn't trying to put words in your mouth at all, I just think it's gross. And I haven't seen any, and don't want to because it's scary, 12-14 year olds that look like they're 18-20. I can definitely see someone looking like 16 but they'd be underage no matter what. We don't even know EXACTLY what he did anyways. I don't know, we'll see what happens...

I don't know, as homely as Don Vito is, there have got to be some sick f***ing girls (sick, although still not half bad looking) out there who find him attractive, if not for his grotesque appearance then for the small fortune amassed from his newphew's success. Look at any teen magazine, or go to your local mall,a nd you will find that not only are parents condoning 12 and 14 year olds looking older, but physically, they look older as well.

At the same time....I really think its ridiculous the way "some" young girls are dressing now..the half shirts,low cut jeans with a thong showing halfway up their back and wearing make-up changes the appearence alot too.....It is almost impossible to tell a girls age anymore...she could be young or she could be a small titted adult women...who knows..?
