"Rock Star: Supernova" is set to have a special guest star on soon. "I'm really excited about having Rob Zombie on," show co-host Dave Navarro tells AOL Music. "I don't know if a lot of people that aren't fans of Rob's are aware just how brilliant that guy is. He's super-smart, strongly opinionated and knows a lot about entertainment and art, and having the two meet."

Asked about a recent news story indicated Rob would be making his appearance on the program in the coming weeks, Navarro replied, "That is an old story that they chose to run pretty much out of nowhere. ok, i watch the show, yes curse me, go ahead. this is my opinion, Dave, he is ok, not my cup of tea, i dont like metrosexuals ( i am a chick by the way) he looks super gay. as for the rest, there are some interesting performances every once in a while. I dont know what kind of music this band will make, the thing of it is that even if they want to be hard core, this show makes them very mainstream. So, whoever the "winner" is, they will be in the media for a while, after that we all will be saying Supernova who?
