I was once a fan of this entire genre and culture, and since have moved on to more mature and nobler pursuits. However, I feel like I must impart some type of opinion on this CD, band, whathaveyou. I don't think that Norma Jean will *ever* be able to make an album that can compare to their first (Bless the Martyr and Kiss the Child)... for whatever reason that may be. Lineup change, music style change, whatever.

But they're doing a pretty good job of not f***ing up.

Well said.

I like some of these song names - particularly the 3rd, 5th, and 8th. Number 9 is cool, too. Interesting use of wording.

o' god sucked. i heard the 2 songs on myspace and i like the new style way better than o' god's repetative, slower stuff. it's more aggressive, heartfelt and raw. it's more like the norma jean we used to know, back in the bless the martyr days.
