Pointless release, just rip the songs from the 3 albums and make your own CD.

I love this band, but it pisses me off when a band with only 3 major releases puts out a "best of" album. f*** that. write some new f***ing material, then I'll spend my money.

It's about as bad as all the tribute albums that come out with no-name bands covering one-hit wonders. Nu-metal, rap-rock, and screamo bands do not need (nor do most deserve) tribute albums.

Wow. A best of after only 3 albums. And two of those discs kind of suck. The first album was good, "If you still hate me" kicks ass.
Why not put out a live album? That way you get some live songs that probly won't be in set lists after they've put out a couple more

They probably owed RR one more album in their contract, and this is how they're going to fulfill that agreement.

That indeed is the case, when you sign a record deal its based on # of albums, with a clause for album sales. Ill Nino owed RR a album, and since they are writing new material on another label, a best of is the only way to put an album out without writing two albums really.

I think this is great news, if only for seeing a band screwing RR around for a change. Most nobody'll buy the 'best of' because they either have the songs already or realise that nothing beyond the debut is worth bothering with. But I don't think they really care about the sales for this one. RR on the other hand...great news, great news.
