Alright, i tried leaving a comment before on the other forum... Now heres my opinion to you people, Cradle of Filth, is one of the best bands out there, How can you just sit there and bash on them. If you hate Cradle of Filth, then you hate metal period. So what would you do if i bashed on your music? it's probably Fall out Boy, or, My Chemical Romance perhaps? Well, You stick to your taste of music. See im with the othr person, thats said everything about how much they liked Damnation & a Day You are 100% Right. Every Cradle of Filth album is pure genious. I think there music is absoultely perfect. The vocals, sure he screams a lot, in a different way, but hell, I get sick of bands sounding the same all the time, So i like what Cradle does. Dimmu Borgir,.... yea, don't compare Dimmu's work, with Cradles... Shagrath and Dani think of 2 seperate things. And yes, they dont focus on just metal.. for what they listen to, but they focus on also Classical, you may think Dimmu Borgir isn't black metal because of Death Cult Armageddon but listen to the song, Eradiction Insitincs Defined... the intro is something you'd probably think that Dimmu would never think of. Now, back to Cradle... Okay, for the people who enjoyed, Nymphetamine the album, to me, it wasn't something Cradle would go for, but it had a new sound... and a new melody, it's pretty much perfect in my opinion, and if you liked Nymphetamine [THE SONG] Then why would you hate a song with Ville Valo from H.I.M ? Listen to HIM's old music.... not the new.... the new is even in my words HORRIBLE. But the work that Ville Valo did a long time ago was really good, Check out songs like The Begining of the End, or For You, it brings an evil love message to you. So if Ville does that work with Dani WHICH is comepletly 100% that will happen, then it will sound good, and i'm pretty sure it'll be a song like Nymphetamine, because Dani Filth wouldnt make a speed song with Ville Valo, it just wont happen, so if you like Nymphetamine, then quit your bitc**** And listen to what new sound they have in store for you. Because every album, Dani creates a new story. So listen.

Hmm. This cover is quite delightful. By the way, although it's a long post, what that mike guy said above is also very true and i agree with practically every word. Remember everyone keep an OPEN MIND about this album and embrace it, even if it's not typical "Cradle" sound, change can be good!! I love Cradle of Filth and Dani Filth is a sexxxy beast. i am a devoted cradle of filth fan and 4 those who talk sh#% on cradle of filth the only way you can get away with that is if you do not listen to emo or you are hard as hell and listen 2 bands like cattle decapatation cannibal corpse or stuff like that otherwise if you listen 2 anything like green day 50 cent hillary duff or sell oout bands like slipknot you have no right 2 bag on cradle of filth

At first when i saw the cover i thought to myself, what? But now i see that it is an amazing piece of art. The woman, with jesus's head, and the painting in the background with the three crosses. Looks like she went into the picture and stole his head to pose with, thats why it is called,Thornography. just my idea though.

I totally agree with well-minded mr. mike on this one. If you dont like cradle of filth, dont post on this forum. Your wasting true fans time and making enemies in the process. I dont like emo music but im not gonna hit up the emo forums and bash their music. Cradle is a special band to me with fulfilled potential and a different sound. There's a reason they have been around for about 15 years. I expect this album to be different, but if your not moving on your moving backwards or your being passed by. Hail Cradle of Filth.

if you think nymphetamine was the greatest moments in cradle of filth cough (psythe) cough you obviously only listened to that 1 cus i could think of stuff that was way better than nymphetamine for example cruelty & the beast, damnation and a day, bitter suites to succubi, from the cradle to enslave, midian, the priciple of evil made flesh,V empire or dark faerytales in phallustine and dusk and her embrace heck even livebait for the dead and lovecraft & witchhearts was better and those are just e.p. albums but anyways every album before nymphetamine was better tthan nymphetamine and i would now i own them all except for the demo albums b4 and after cradle became popular oh and bootleg too
