i love this song i have since i bough the album the day it came out. i think its great. stop bashing them. they come up with the greatest solos and sh**. i love them. and matt's voice is sexy. their sound does differ alot from their first two albums its still really great. it sounds classic. yeah gnr has a couple songs that sound close but actually listen to it its different really. i cant wait to see the video!! do you know when the video will be out?

Having said that.....I can't believe I listened to that for 51 seconds...(shivers)....his voice sounds like a recently neutered beagle. But he doesn't sound as bad as say Yoko Ono, heh.
The style of the music in this song is really going to put some distance between A7x's original fanbase and their growing pop-fanbase who only like the band because their a "fresh new band"....Regardless if they've been around since 99.
Only the fans who like the original hardcore-sounding stuff AND the current radio-friendly A7X will be left when the dust settles.
No word on the video release date but I'm sure we'll find out soon.

Bands I like...There really are hundreds. Tool, Opeth, Nine Inch Nails (not so much the last cd), Pig Destroyer, Shadows Fall, Pantera, Dillinger Escape Plan (as you know, heh) and Strapping Young Lad to name a few. Lots of others you have and havent heard of.
It's rare that we get more than one or two members of the female persuasion around here so you're opinions and methods of expressing them might be a bit differnt than most around here...So just keep sticking up for yourself and your band.

Personally I like Avenged Sevenfold a lot. There old stuff was better, but that's usually how it goes. I really do like M. Shadows voice. It's hot. Pantera, Tool, Slayer, and Megadeth are amazingly good, but you can't really trash a7x for having there own personal style even though in their interviews they said they were inspired by Guns 'n Roses, Pantera, Megadeth, and Metallica. The Rev is a great drummer and I think Synyster Gates is amazing on guitar. (my opinions, don't kill me)
