A long standing friendship has lead to an exciting partnership between Stillborn Records and Abacus Recordings. Abacus Recordings will now be sub-distributing and becoming involved with marketing strategies for Stillborn releases. "We are ecstatic about working with the Stillborn releases," says Ray Harkins of Abacus Recordings, "Stillborn has signed some very long standing and developing artists that above all believe in the value of hard work as evidence by their label manager Jamey Jasta and Jay Reason."

The bond between the two labels has existed for years. Stillborn owner Jamey Jasta has spent years touring with many of the artists on Abacus in his band Hatebreed. Abacus Recordings artist The Distance's lead vocalist Jay Reason also helps run Stillborn giving the labels an intimate understanding and comradery making this partnership a natural extension of their friendship.

Abacus Recordings has recently released a number of highly revered albums such as Sick Of It All "Death To Tyrants", Ignite "Our Darkest Days" and in June The Distance "The Rise, The Fall & Everything In Between." The partnership with Stillborn begins with the release of Full Blown Chaos "Within The Grasp Of Titans" on July 11th.

cool, nice to see labels working together instead of competing for a change.

I haven't heard anything from Stillborn records but I know bands from Abacus. Hopefully working together between these to labels works out
