Korn Joined By Fear Factory Guitarist?

According to a posting on KornTV.co.uk and various Internet reports, KORN have enlisted FEAR FACTORY guitarist Christian Olde Wolbers as the replacement for the recently departed Rob Patterson.
Rob, who was previously the guitarist for OTEP, joined KORN as the backup guitarist in July 2005, filling the slot left vacant by the departure of Brian "Head" Welch.
After KORN's first summer European show on Thursday (May 25) at the Super Bock Super Rock XL festival in Lisbon, Portgual, several fans claimed that they saw Olde Wolbers performing with the group at the concert.
FEAR FACTORY are not currently on tour and have no dates scheduled until the fall. However, it is not clear if Wolbers will only be joining KORN for the European leg of the "See You on the Other Side" world tour or if his tenure with the group will be extended to include the upcoming Family Values trek.
KORN's upcoming DVD, "Live On The Other Side", will receive a big screen premiere on June 19 at more than 100 theatres in 70 markets nationwide. Along with interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and music videos, the disc will feature excerpts from a private show the band played for contest winners and U.S. soldiers on a plane headed to New York from Europe.
The DVD will be in stores on June 20.
KORN will headline the Family Values tour this summer, which begins on July 27 in Virginia Beach. The main stage lineup also features DEFTONES, STONE SOUR, FLYLEAF and DIR EN GREY.

I must admit, I was impressed with Korns early output (frist 2 records) and there were even sporadic moments on later cds that were remarkable.
Not so anymore.
Korn went over the wayside on this last album. There hasn't been much hope for them since the turn of the century and there is absolutely none at this point.

Just so u guys know. KORN actually preferes NOT to headline. John said that there is less stress when they are not headlining and they are more relaxed on stage. I don't know who Jamie is but Dir En Grey I don't think will be healining any American tours any time soon. Sorry Jamie, that's just the way it is. FVT2 will introduce this band to a large American audience and some how, I just don't see them running to their local music store and purchasing their albums, they are not even download worthy.

Hey there Azazel_Begotten, Longtime no see. MU hasn't been the same without ya.
I just don't understand how someone who got into Korn by way of their first two albums can subscribe to this dribble they're churning out now.....It's f***ing terrible.
I respect everyones opinion but theres no accounting for some peoples taste.
