Slipknot Mask-Wearing Robbers On The Loose

Eyewitness News Memphis is reporting that four armed and dangerous gunmen — including one wearing a replica of a mask worn by SLIPKNOT drummer Joey Jordison — stormed into a Memphis supermarket Saturday (April 29) and stole money from the store's cash registers and the First Tennessee Bank inside the store. One of the robbers shot a store employee in the face.
A surveillance camera captured it all.
Police think the gunmen are the same robbers who stormed a Tri-State Bank inside a different Memphis-area supermarket on on April 21. In both cases one of the gunmen was wearing the Joey Jordison mask, of which the FBI says very few have been sold in the Mid-South.

Corey Taylor is the ruining the band stop trying to mix Stone Sour into Slipknot I wanna hear more songs like SURFACING not f***ing Vermillion, Vermillion part 2, Circle and those last two sh** songs....if you can call those songs.

I hate 50 cent lividly, i really hate that guy sooooo much, but i have to give him respect for being able to make a hugely suckessful album with songs like the candy shop on it. And to the dudes up in the early posts saying that there is weak material on Volume 3 (the subliminal verses), you are entitled to your own oppinion, but you have to understand that no-one, not one single band plays the same style forever. I would go f***ing bonkers if my band only played metal all the time. Sometimes, especially after 3 albums of hard core nu metal, you just gotta say f*** IT ALL!!! and just play some slower songs. Circle, Vermillion pt. 2, The Virus of Life, and Danger-keep away(which suprisingly enough was written by clown) are all just showing that the band is starting to mature musically. These guys don't have the same hate fueled music they once had because they are soooo successful. They arent living on ham sandwiches any more. So, in turn, they have to find newer and more mature ways of expressing themselves. Just read the lyrics to Circle or The Virus of Life, it's some crazy stuff.

Oh yeah, and the only talented people in the band arent Mick and Joey, of course they are amazing, but Jim root plays the guitar like a beast, and not many people can go from a death growl to a high pitched scream like corey. And if you didn't have Clown and Chris jumping around like maniacs and beating the crap out of each other, the show is just not going to be nearly as entertaining. But i have to say 133 does absolutely nothing. Sid is a god on the mixing boards. Everyone (except 133) brings talent to the table.

I couldn't agree with you more. There is a part of a bands time, especially one with the success as Slipknot, where you have to mature as band and learn to progress in the song writing process. You can't just write songs about hate, epecially when you are at the peak of success and can enjoy your accomplishments. There is though a constant struggle in everyones life, and that is where bands like Slipknot feed from, from the struggle. By struggle I mean the struggle to keep it together on the road, progressing in both music and business, etc. Even success can have it's struggles. But as far as the writing of their music, Slipknot are as I see it good writers for the genre of music they play.
