Chimaira and Roadrunner Records Part Ways

Chimaira and Roadrunner Records have officially parted ways. The band has released the following explanation:
"We asked to be let out of the contract and they graciously agreed to our request. We (Chimaira and Roadrunner) had not been seeing eye to eye on some key issues and came to a mutual agreement to end our relationship - and we are leaving on good terms with everyone there.
Bands change labels all the time, but in this day and age everyone on the internet is an industry expert and will come up with their own theories as to 'what happened.' There is nothing more going on than what we already stated."

I really like Chimaira. I heard about this days ago I'm surprised this wasn't up sooner. But sh** happens. I guarentee they'll find a new record company. They've proven themselves in the music industry and I really hope they don't disband which I doubt but you never know.

hope they can get the deal they need with another record co., i really like these guys. what'd everyone think of their recent self-titled album? i found it to be pretty good - i wouldnt say that it's better than some of their previous work, but it was still a blast for me. had some sweet heavy moments. although, the second disc was a little...less. i think that says it.
