Wicked Wisdom's "Bleed All Over Me" To Receive Headbanger's Ball Premiere

WICKED WISDOM — the five-piece band featuring actress Jada Pinkett Smith (wife of Will Smith) — will debut their new video, "Bleed All Over Me", on MTV2's "Headbanger's Ball" on Saturday, April 29. "Hopefully people will like the new single and the video," Jada said. "Dean Karr [director] did his thing. The song is about my co-dependency. No matter how much therapy I have, I can't seem to kick it.

"We are really excited about the new video for our second single, 'Bleed All Over Me'," she continued. "The video is basically about resurrecting those aspects of ourselves we kill to make other people happy with us. Every aspect of who we are is what makes us whole. You kill one part of ourselves, we don't realize it destroys the foundation of who we are."

"Bleed All Over Me" comes off WICKED WISDOM's self-titled debut album, which was released on February 21 via 100% Womon/Suburban Noize Records.

WICKED WISDOM recently completed a U.S. tour as the support act for SEVENDUST. "All the bands were so cool," Jada said. "SEVENDUST has some of the best fans. We made a lot of friends out there.

"Touring for three months was hard, but I believe that the grind really helped get our game tight. We have some more work to do but we made some big leaps in that time."

WICKED WISDOM plan on jumping back on tour in May.

wow...It's f***ing hard to find something nice to say about this band.

I'm not even going to try.

I guess they have a good work ethic..and they're grateful but uhmmm...They really do suck...

People tell me that noise, and grindcore is the hardest stuff to listen to but I disagree. Just the singer for this band is enough to put me into a f***ing institution.

She need ALOT of practice....Big Willy style should foot the bill for her to get like 5 good vocal coaches and a thesaurus, 'cus her lyrics make LimpBizkit sound clever.

They are truly, truly, truly terrible. I even went so far as to go to their MySpace...I know...I know...that was a dangerous thing to do...but I had to hear it for myself before I ripped on it...and not only did it make me wretch...my ears revolted against me and told me that they wouldn't allow me to hear ever again if I did anything like that ever again. So, needless to say, I have not been back to the site...and my ears and I have a new understanding.

Still have not herd them yet.Still can't find anybody that has herd them and liked them. That is really sad when you consider the fact that I listen to damn near everything possible. So if I have not herd it I know someone who has and I can usually get the most honest opinion possible.I have not herd one possitive thing yet.I hope she is sincere about this other wise it's just a waste of talent.

Poser music for poser fans. This is an Otep rip off and they're a God awful band to begin with! If it wasn't bad enough they were on Ozzfest, they broguht Will Smith out as a special guest? I'm sorry but this isn't metal people. Trashy nu-metal (hey guys the nu-metal band wagon left about 6 years again. Why don't you jump on the metalcore As I Lay Crying wagon now?) Musicians like Dead and Dimebag die, yet people like this are allowed to live and make music?

i don't see how they expect anyone to take them seriously. I saw Wicked Wisdom at last years Ozzfest in Dallas and it took everybody by surprise. Nobody knew what to do. the whole crowd just kinda stood there and stared at them through their whole 20 minutes on the second stage. I thought it was a joke at first and kinda half expected will smith to pop out on stage and get "jiggy with it". Jada sounds like a mix between a wannabe RATM on crack. F*ckin blows

You know what... why the eff would you come onto a site that isnt made for dissing this band, but just for fans to talk about them. you b****es are making it pretty effing hard for anyone to hold onto their original thoughts! this band is sooooooo not an Otep rip off. i think i would know a little something about Otep Shamaya's sound seeing as how i am one of her Shadow Soldiers. but then again, why would anyone listen. you're such f***ing closed minded FANBOYS who can't listen to anything different or out of the ordinary, especially if you know anything about their personal backgrounds that dont match your f***ing idol's s***.

so you people should just take time to listen to her lyrics, they arent stewpod crap. they have a deep meaning behind them that i can actually catch, so if someone like ME can understand what she is truly talking about, then you dumbasses are so stupid you cant tell the difference between a d*** and a p***y!!!

That's because SEVENDUST is infact a great band. You gotta see them live to truly appreciate them.I still have not herd anything from WICKED WISDOM yet.And everytime I hear mention of them I still have not heard anything good.I think part of the problem may be the fact that Jada is who she is.Knowone takes them seriously as a result although she may be very serious in her intent and actually love this music as the rest of us do.The other problem is Jada's fame could have accidently boosted them up the latter a little too soon. They have not had time to develop as a band and get a real chemistry going as far as the writing style goes and therefore the development of a signature sound which amazeingly enough even Limp Bizquit has which should ounce againe explaine why I hate C&C.The point is Too Much Too Soon.I don't know I'm waiteing to hear them but not holding my breath.

f*** all you naysayers. not to bring up the stereotype card (which I am anyway), it's extremely refreshing to see people break out of the "mold" when some might pigeonhole them in one role or another (actress, wife of will smith, pop/r&b singa becuz she's blak, etc.) regardless of whether their music sucks or not.

btw, a lot of my friends think the band has potential. the lyrics need some maturity, yes, but the musical style, with some of the members, is tight, and I see a lot of potential to grow.

Christ, give them a chance before you write them off.

The singer needs a tremendous amount of work. The lyrics are garbage. The rest of the band have "chops" but I can get that anywhere I look.

What I want is a prefect package deal METAL band with a great female front woman. It has yet to happen.

If you think my opinion has anything to do with race I happen to like Godforbid, Sevendust, RATM and -many- other racially diverse bands.

If you think my opinion is steeped in gender. You would be wrong. I happen to like the first 3 records and the one Ep from Lacuna Coil.

I enjoy Draconian (sort of corny lyrics at times but great music, great female vox) and both Drain STH albums. Even Snake River Conspiracy --had-- potential...

While I don't see much potential for Jada Pinkkett Smith I do see potential for Morgan Lander of Kittie. Good harsh vox, good (could be better) singing voice but flat out unforgivable lyrics and her backing band sound like a less inventive Korn.

So, find another angle Yasmin I gave them a chance when I sat through three songs of theres. It's just bad....but thats only my opinion.

I'm sure the band is cultivating a fan base as we speak, they do have a good touring ethic and Smith is said to not be a diva.
