Antimusic.com Has Fun With Ozzfest Rumors

With all the rumors going around about the bands on Ozzfest, Antimusic.com thought it would be fun to look at some of the latest rumors:
Guns N' Roses - We now know that Axl and company are making the rounds at European festivals this Spring but will they headline Ozzfest? It could happen but then again they could easily sellout the same venues on their own and keep all the cash instead of sharing with Sharon.
AC/DC - Given that Judas Priest and Iron Maiden, two bands that do well on their own, have done the tour in the past it's not too crazy to think of AC/DC heading the fest but again they might be better off on their own.
Korn - Since they aren't drawing like they used to on their own this might make be a good fit.
Alice in Chains - Judas Priest used Ozzfest for their comeback but a Layne-less AIC might not attract enough $$ for Sharon.
System of a Down - Given how much they love greedy capitalist like Sharon, who knows?
Body Count - Ice T supposedly told a radio DJ that they are doing it. Would be kind of cool to have a credible rap rock band on the tour for a change.
Tool - would be cool but they are supposed to have some conflicting summer gigs already in the can.
Metallica - management killed this rumor. Maybe they will team up with Guns N Roses again and do stadiums? Hey we can start rumors too, just look at the next section!
Since rumors are so fun, we're gonna start our own. Sharon wants to expand Ozzfest's reach and wants to sell as many tickets as possible so what about these bookings? Backstreet Boys, 50 Cent and Britney Spears. Think it's a stretch? Sharon did put Crazy Town on the main stage one year and let's not forget about Linkin Park and Adema.

better bands than those f***ing retards metallica and system of a down and disturbed already sold out just not knowing how much bullsh** mtv already put them through in the last years or so. so why stand for so long for tickets and wait months to see lame excuse bands like system of a down, disturbed, and metallica. i wouldnt even see the annual saxon concert if it meant manowar a ripped band of iron maiden but seeing iron maiden can suck my d*** and sh** on poor old ozzy is bullsh** as well, that manowar makes there sound better than those f***s in iron maiden, saxon is another band dead since the 1980's died. what even makes me sick is hearing people saying they love
(ac lightning bolt dc) the way you say the bands name dont ask. that people wear the shirts and say " oh i love ac/dc and their my favorite" i ask them whats your favorite song?
they say to me that they never heard a ac/dc song ever so they wear the shirts why?
cause they look cool. thats like asking a fat guy wearing a greatful dead shirt and a f*** you hat whos led zeppelin!!!! you know that answer right. a punch to your face. well thats my rant have fun

alright to post 15... if u dont think metallica, in their prime were one of the best bands ever, then dont even post comments anymore, cause they made rock n' roll in the 80's and 90's... i don't even understand why u would be on this site talking about ozzfest when you're a fan of cannibal corpse and gwar, who combined probably sold about 100 albums, because of beavis and butthead..... system and disturbed never sold out.. system just combinded old sound with new sound thats all, they cant help it if it sells millions... and disturbed definitely didnt sell out, they actually have guitar solos in their songs now.. they're one band thats tryin to bring rock n' roll back to the way it used to be.. and not follow beats bands like atreyu who wear more eye liner than women

Metallica was good ... considered to be an influencial thrash Metal band in the 80s along side anthrax,
slayer, testament, and mega death .... but what happened to them .... Anthrax adopted the rap metal
style while dave mustain finds god and metallica cuts their hair and has not a single solo on the
st.anger album.
I am compleatly against fusing rap and metal .... it should not be done period .... i respect some rap and
i enjoy listening to it, but metal should stay with solos, blast beats, and distorted guitar while rap should
stick to turn tables, complex rhymes, and drive bys.
AC/DC WTF ... ok i respect angus young as a guitarist but you must know when to throw in the towel

GnR .... from what i understand axel rose and slash have not reconciled meaning slash is'nt making a return .... i hate axel rose as a person and i won't sit through a GnR set unless slash is on stage.
Korn .... they should have all died in a plane crash in the 90s.
Metallica .... there is'nt much metallic about metallica now.
SOAD .... use to be one of my fav bands ... but i could bet they will probably play mostly their new stuff which is a real shame.
Tool ... now here is a band i can respect ..... much like AiC they came out when every band around was trying to be as heavy as could be but tool did'nt give a sh** and played progressive and was true to them selves ... i truly respect that.
It's offical .... ozzfest is going down the toilet seat ... i hope some good bands will be there to back up the
sh**ty ones ... last year the only good bands their was like KsE, Arch Enemy, and shadows fall .... don't
think im leaving out sabboth and maiden but come on .... i respect ozzy but the man forgot half of his
lines and as for bruce d***inson ... he acked like a total d*** just like his name implies.
And Deadpool you are a f***tard ... since when has the number of cds sold make a band better than
another .... i mean brittny spears has sold more sh** than slayer ... does that make her better.
And who uses the term rock and role anymore ... just so you know that turm died out in the 60s.

Because if there is no progression we will be stuck listening to the same sh** till we're old dicrepit men.
And can any one please tell me if their is going to be a SOTU this year .... if there is f*** ozzfest.

The perfect ozzfest line up includes:
Childeren of Bodom, Cannable corpse, and in flames( so they can have some credible death metal)
Rammstein, Gwar, and Apocalyptica( To make way for some awsome live shows)
Tool, System of a down, Mudvayne, and disturbed(Sole pourpose for profit .... Bands that would bring a mainstream crowd and they don't compleatly suck )
KsE, Trivium, and darkest hour(gotta have some good metalcore)
Simple plan( to throw sh** at)
Lamb of god, DevilDriver, and chimara(3 words .... they kick ass)
Slayer, Judas prist, and testament( to have some old school cred)
