how is this gonna effect BLS....if you've ever seen them live which im sure that most of you have, it is zakk soloing for about 2 and1/2 hours and all of their cd's sound the same....he is an awesome musician, but his band is a dime a dozen type hard-rock band. they will not be impacted at all. when they record, they must record ninety songs at a time and then release them on three cd's every three months.....i just dont dig BLS, sorry (for wasting my own time posting this) oh yeah, and name one decent band on roadrunner (and dont say f u c k i n killswitch)......................hint, check out relapse's line up

I don't give a sh** about roadrunner one way or another. I love bls, though. Metalmayhem, you're right in that bls is a lot like other heavy METAL bands (not hard rock, there is a music theory difference). But there is one major difference: BLS guitars (at least the stuff Zakk writes for himself) are a lot better written than most other bands of that style. The riffs are better, and Zakk can write and play a f*** load better than most of the rest. He doesn't write a difficult piece all the time, but then again, he writes by what he likes, not what is the most difficult (as opposed to most good death metal, who write a sh** load of difficult stuff if they've got the skill). As for KF, get over it, a lot of good metal had people with teased hair. Metal is a conforming lifestyle just like every other lifestyle. Period, end of story. So what the hell, metal did one thing then said that the look was not metal, in fact un-metal, ten years later. Common thing in any form of fashion tradition. Get over it.
