Entire Metallica Concert From Nov 15 Online Now

METALLICA's entire second concert as the support act for THE ROLLING STONES on November 15 at the SBC Park in San Francisco, California has been posted online in audio format at this location.
METALLICA opened for THE ROLLING STONES on Sunday (Nov. 13) at the same venue. These are METALLICA's only live shows of 2005.
As previously reported, METALLICA guitarist Kirk Hammett will appear on the cover of the January 2006 issue of Guitar World magazine, which is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the release of the band's landmark "Master of Puppets" album. The issue goes on sale November 22.
The band will reportedly reconvene before the end of the year or early in 2006 to begin working on material for their ninth studio album.

I can't help but hope that maybe, just maybe, Bob Rock won't be in on this album. Ever since Load I've learned to not get my hopes up for anything....
I'd like to see Metallica prove to us that they can, infact go back their roots, Kirk Hammet has often said "we can do that sound anytime we want"......Maybe now, after 15 years, the sound they helped create has come back into fashion, lord knows they follow trends with every album after Black.....

we should be able to respect music for what it is, in any form. simply because one album differs from the next does not make either of the albums any better than the other; it just makes them different. without change there is no progression, and Metallica have changed a lot as musicians between albums - thus they have progressed. sure, "St. Anger" didn't sound anything like "...And Justice For All", and that is a good thing; who wants a band that has produced a multitude of releases that all sound the same? All of Metallicas albums are excellent in their own way, just as all musical forms are excellent in their own way. Perhaps it is our perspectives that need to progress.

All I know is that the videos of the songs posted were some of the best performances since Cliff was in the band. If you don't agree, oh well. Rob has made Metallica sound better. Actually, it kind of restored my faith that he may help influence another great album.
