Kittie has signed with Rock Ridge Music to release a digital EP and ringtones in early 2006. It was announced by Jason Spiewak of Rock Ridge Music. “Kittie rocks!” says Spiewak. “They are an amazingly talented and focused group, and we’re thrilled to be working with them.” The deal was done based on Spiewak’s past working relationship with the band.
Kittie , which features sisters Morgan and Mercedes Lander (guitar/vocals and drums, respectively), Trish Doan (bass), and Tara Macleod (guitar), has sold over 1 million records in the United States since making its recording debut with Spit (Artemis) in 2000. Morgan Lander says: "We are excited to finally have the ability to get new music out to our fans and delighted to be doing so with the help of Rock Ridge Music and Jason Spiewak. This is a unique opportunity to take advantage of the technology that is out there to introduce new material while we complete our forthcoming album."
Kittie is currently working on material for their next full-length record. In the meantime, the band has signed with Rock Ridge Music to release a digital-only EP of new songs in the first quarter of 2006. Rock Ridge will also release Kittie’s first-ever official ringtones around the same time.

Kitties only strength is that their singer has some proven vocal range and the drummer can actually play. The riffs are ho-hum and the songs themselves are WAY too cookie-cutter.
This is one of those bands that suffer because they don't have a central musician who is well versed in music or classicly trained (see all of Tool, Cliff Burton, Trent Reznor etc).....
oh yeah, and Kitties lyrics really really suck

Before LordFagony says something here about how he'd bone them, remember LordAgony, that you can't even get laid when b****es are in comas (They might even wake up for you and kick your ass, p***y a$$ b****! JUST ADMIT YOU'RE THE BIGGEST f***ING KORN FAN HERE!!!!)...First off, they're OK, nothing monumental...And I miss their last guitarist, Fallon Bowman (not just for her moderate guitar skills, but OMG! she was THE SEX!!!! Not trying to be demeaning to women, but dude, she was the hottest one! If she ever had groupies, I'd be first in line!!! I would be her b****, just straight love slave, do EVERYTHING SHE TOLD ME!!!). But anyways, nothing special, and like RM? said, their lyrics suck, but the best thing they have is vocal quality (the singing and growling), and they have MODERATE SKILLS...I STILL MISS <3<3<3FALLON BOWMAN<3<3<3 *melts*
But am I the only one that thinks that KITTIE IS JUST A FEMALE CANADIAN KORN???!!! Anyone else thought that before???
