70000 Tons of Metal - The World's Biggest Heavy Metal Cruise

"some music was meant to stay underground..."

Engine, Ray Alder, Joey Vera, Bernie versailles, Pete Parada, Fates Warning, Armored Saint, Agent Steel, Fact to Face

Engine, featuring Fates Warning's Ray Alder, Armored Saint's Joey Vera, Agent Steel's Bernie Versailles and Fact To Face's Pete Parada, are close to completing their second full-length album for Metal Blade Records.

"Engine is something that I've always wanted to do," says Engine/Fates Warning vocalist Ray Alder on the Metal Blade website. "(It's) something that expressed my ideas, as far as musical tastes were involved. The result is a record of originality, dense riffs, haunting melodies and lyrics of endless emotional depth, a combination that has long been lacking in this day and age. Although I'm in a prog rock band I am also a fan of the much heavier styles of music."

Engine's new as-yet-untitled album is being produced by Vera at an undisclosed studio, and should be on store shelves sometime this summer.
