Seminal British heavy metal outfit Iron Maiden will release a special edition of single Run To The Hills in different formats to benefit the Clive Burr Multiple Sclerosis Trust Fund.
Burr, who played drums on Iron Maiden's first three albums (1980's self-titled, 1981's Killers and 1982's Number of the Beast), is suffering from multiple sclerosis, a chronic autoimmune disease that causes muscular weakness, visual disturbances and affects balance. For his benefit, Iron Maiden have decided to release Run To The Hills and perform three exclusive shows (March 19, 20 and 21 at London's Brixton Academy), where all proceeds will go to Burr's Trust Fund.
