Whitechapel Premiere New Music Video For "Bedlam''

Knoxville, TN-based deathcore veterans Whitechapel have unveiled an official music video for their track “Bedlam”, streaming via YouTube for you now below.

Frontman Phil Bozeman offered some background on this latest cut from “Hymns In Dissonance”, sharing the following explanation:

“In the album ‘This Is Exile’, there was a character ‘Daemon’ [AKA Craig] who is the brother of the cult leader. This song is him admitting his jealousy towards him and defiling his rotting corpse. This is the point of view of him and his dead brother, who is eternally trapped in his own dead body and can still feel and hear everything but cannot move or escape.

Craig is basically slowly defiling his body because of his envy towards his older brother being the one who was chosen instead of him to be the seed of evil. ‘Bedlam’ is chaos, confusion, and turmoil which describes this scene.”

David Brodsky (Cattle Decapitation, Revocation) was once again recruited to direct the accompanying clip, which delivers its fair share of stomach-churning gore. In just under a week, Whitechapel will kick off their 20th anniversary tour, joined by Chelsea Grin, The Acacia Strain and Netherwalker. The itinerary includes:
