Insomnium Premiere New Single & Music Video "Arch Of The Sky" From Upcoming New Album "Netherworlds"

Another preview of Insomnium‘s tenth studio album “Netherworlds” has surfaced online, streaming via YouTube and Spotify for you now below. The Finnish melodic death metal veterans have now premiered a music video for “Arch Of The Sky” from the forthcoming record.

Guitarist/vocalist Ville Friman offered the following thoughts on the track:

“‘Arch Of The Sky‘ introduces a proggier side of the Netherworlds, featuring time signature changes and Insomnium‘s trademark blend of mellow passages and heavier sections. Lyrically, the song is inspired by Sámi mythology, in which celestial hunters pursue a deer across the arch of the sky in perpetual motion. According to the legend, if the deer were ever caught, the world would come to an end as the roof of the sky collapsed.”

The accompanying music video once again sees the band teaming up with director Patric Ullaeus (Dimmu Borgir, Arch Enemy). “Netherworlds” will arrive on October 16th via Nuclear Blast. The following touring legs will serve as the opening dates of this album cycle:
