Forbidden Premiere New Single & Music Video "Burning The Lungs Of Earth" From Upcoming Self-Titled Comeback Album

Thrash metal veterans Forbidden have officially released their new single “Burning The Lungs Of Earth“. The track is slated to appear on the band’s forthcoming self-titled comeback album, which is scheduled for an October 23rd release through BLKIIBLK. The effort will mark the group’s first album since 2010. Their own Chris Kontos directed the accompanying video for the track, both of which now available for streaming via YouTube and Spotify for you below.

Guitarist Craig Locicero had the following to say about the latest single from the record:

“‘Burning The Lungs Of Earth‘ is a fast paced thrasher with complex riffs, soaring melodic vocals, thunderous drums & bass. The song mirrors the effects of mankind’s natural & unnatural disasters, coupled with the planetary cycle we find ourselves in decimating our ecosystems. Corporations, politicians & greed suffocating the planet. ‘First the smoke and seas will rise, the naive will remain blind. The world turns, the sun still shines as we slowly choke and die.'”
