Anthrax Premiere New Single & Music Video "Everybody’s Got A Plan" From Upcoming New Album "Cursum Perficio"

Another new track from Anthrax's long-awaited upcoming album has arrived. The East Coast thrash metal veterans have premiered a music video for “Everybody’s Got A Plan,” a song whose title references the famous quote often attributed to boxing legend Mike Tyson.

The video features footage from the band's July 7th performance with Iron Maiden in Lisbon, Portugal. The track is the third single to emerge from Anthrax's first new studio album in a decade, “Cursum Perficio,” which is due out on September 18th.

Drummer Charlie Benante said of the new single:

“‘Everybody’s Got a Plan‘ has always been one of my favorite songs on ‘Cursum Perficio‘. The video basically shows the band on and off stage in a montage of video clips that kinda matches the velocity of the song. The line ‘Everybody’s Got A Plan until they get punched in the face’ is such a great line, and so true!”

Guitarist Scott Ian added:

“We wanted to capture us having fun on tour and what better way to do that? That was a plan that didn’t end up with a punch in the face! Have fun watching my friends!”

The band will once again join Iron Maiden later this year as an opening act on select dates of the British heavy metal legends' North American summer tour, which also features Megadeth as direct support:
