XCOMM Premiere New Single & Music Video "Time To Burn" From Upcoming Debut Album "Time To Burn"

Teen hardcore band XCOMM have set May 22nd as the release date for their debut album, “Time To Burn.” The record was produced by Ross Robinson, the acclaimed figure often dubbed the godfather of nü-metal for his work with acts like Korn and Slipknot, as well as later projects with Glassjaw and The Cure.

Director Darren Craig handled the visual for the band’s latest single, “Borrowed Happiness”, both of which now available for streaming via YouTube and Spotify for you below.

The lineup includes drummer Revel Ian—son of guitarist Scott Ian (Anthrax, Mr. Bungle)—and the album also marks a deeper collaboration with Robinson, who will release it through Blowed Out Records, a label he runs alongside Ghostemane and Bill Armstrong. XCOMM’s lineup is rounded out by bassist Adan Escoto and DJ Hunter Grogan.

Known for his intense and unconventional approach in the studio, Robinson left a strong impression on the band. Revel Ian praised the experience, saying, “Ross Robinson transformed us into musical weapons that will blow your head off when you play our record.”

Frontman and guitarist Michael Gatto added:

“I’ll forever be grateful for having the opportunity to record this album, the whole process from tracking to mixing was truly incredible. ‘Borrowed Happiness‘ is one of my favorite tracks on the record, shooting the music videos with Darren and all the dudes in the van was super cool and I love when we play this one live.”

Robinson also weighed in on the experience of working with the band, stating:

“Nothing brings me more satisfaction as a producer than sharing that undeniable life force of untainted expression…XCOMM, being the youngest band I’ve ever worked with, I had to nickname the studio sessions as “daycare.” It was so fun and alive throughout the whole process. Made me realize on another level how important the pulse of youth truly is.”
