Ablation (Sanguisugabogg, Suffocation) Premiere New Single "Lethal Abuse" From Their Upcoming Debut EP
Death metal supergroup Ablation have announced May 29th as the release date for their debut EP, “Lethal Abuse,” which will be issued by Iron Fortress Records across vinyl, CD, and cassette formats. The band brings together Sanguisugabogg vocalist Devin Swank, Suffocation members Eric Morotti (drums) and Derek Boyer (bass), along with former Dehumanized guitarist Rich Nagasawa. Recording sessions for the release took place throughout 2025, with the EP finalized last fall.
The group teamed up with producer Joe Cincotta (Obituary, Suffocation) at Full Force Studio, where he also handled mixing and mastering. Further tying the project to the Suffocation camp, the six-track EP features guest appearances from longtime former frontman Frank Mullen on “Victim Kink” and “Eradicating The Feebleminded.” The title track from “Lethal Abuse” is now streaming via YouTube and Spotify for you below.
