Dold Vorde Ens Navn Introduces New Vocalist Simon Peter Hovind
Dold Vorde Ens Navn has announced that Simon Peter Hovind aka Svik will henceforth take over all vocal duties of the Norwegian black metal veterans.
Oslo born Hovind (1996) has already left his mark as a frontman on the black metal scene, both on the latest album of the traditionalists Den Saakaldte and as the vocalist of black avant-garde act Tilintetgjort.
"We welcome Simon to our pack with proud hearts and high expectations," bass player Cerberus states on behalf of the band. "We have of course chosen our new vocalist carefully and we know what he is capable of. Trust us, you have not witnessed his full potential yet. You can check him out live at some great festivals next year. While talking about our line-up, we are using this opportunity to point out that our second guitarist Morten Aaveren had already joined us as a permanent official member before 'Mørkere' was released – which should clarify this matter once and for all."
In further news, Dold Vorde Ens Navn has just announced the first festival shows for 2026. Please see below for all confirmed dates. The Norwegians will not just perform in support of their debut full-length "Mørkere" ("Darker"), which was released on November 12, 2021, but gradually introduce new material of their forthcoming sophomore full-length as well.
