As a result of the pending visa issues regarding the band, KITTIE has moved their October 15th show in Detroit, Michigan at Harpo's, to the 26th of November.

Anyway, I think metals for anybody that has it in them....They just cant sing like Lita Ford or lack talent like Kittie.....Or be sh**ty radio-rock like Evanescence.....

Angella Gassow had everyone thinking she was a dude on "WOS" when it was still not known who had been selected as AE's new singer.....Hearing Archenemy now it seems obvious that shes a female vocalist, but hindsight is always 20/20.

I personally think women in metal can be a good thing, but I am much more picky on what I'll listen to.

I can't say many female hardcore vocalists have sounded very good to me ( I'd love to hear a KSE type band with that kind of intensity and vocal performances from a female vocalist) and while Kitties singer can indeed sing and roar impressively her lyrics and guitar work are sh**....bloody constipated impacted sh**.

If Lacuna Coils male singer was a little better they might be a perfect example of a female fronted metal band being great. But alas, they are merely decent and barely metal.

Surely someone out there knows of a great metal band with a front woman who isnt a wall flower backed by ho-hum radio-band (see also Evanescence).
