Polish blackened death metal outfit Behemoth have debuted their latest single, “Lvciferaeon,” now available for streaming via YouTube and Spotify for you below. The accompanying video was once again directed by Dariusz Szermanowicz (Leprous, Gaerea). Behemoth’s new album, The Shit Ov God, is scheduled for release on May 09th, 2025.

Frontman and guitarist Nergal offered the following thoughts on the track:

“It seems fitting to announce ‘Lvciferaeon‘ as our next single amongst all the protest activity seen on the streets of the ‘Unholy Trinity’ Tour. Lucifer has been a recurring symbol for us over our three decades of existence — a symbol of defiance and humanity in contrast to the divine ideal. Our fight continues!”

The band is currently touring as part of the ‘Unholy Trinity Tour’ alongside Satyricon and Rotting Christ.

why is it so hard to get into new Behemoth...? Everything since Evangelion has been hit or miss, nothing has stood out as iconic and they can't quite seem to recapture the magic of their glory days
