Bruce Dickinson Blames Sharon Osbourne, Not Ozzy or Black Sabbath

In a recent interview with British newspaper, the Sun, Iron Maiden frontman, Bruce Dickinson, explained the Ozzfest incident. Here are some excerpts from the interview:
Q: So what happened when you went on stage at Ozzfest?
A: "We were hit by a co-ordinated barrage of bottle tops, lighters and eggs from a certain section at the front! Then the power for the PA and backline was completely pulled three or four times during songs. The band held it all together incredibly though and we just got really pumped up. It ended up being an amazing show. Maiden can pretty much deal with anything. We don’t get fazed too easily."
Q: Who do you think was behind it all?
A: "Everyone knows it's Sharon Osbourne. It's certainly not Ozzy or Sabbath - they have too much class to condone stunts like that. She hates me for making remarks about reality TV. I hate reality TV. People should get off their arses and do stuff and not be so voyeuristic."
Q: Her stunts seemed to backfire as you played a magnificent set and soon after, thousands walked out in disgust?
A: "We left for the airport pretty well straight after we came off but we could tell there were a lot of disgusted fans who had paid good money to see us. The audience was incredibly behind us all the way and they really lifted us. If they hadn't been happy, there may have been a riot as those fans were really disgusted with the cowardly attacks."

Too bad Sharon wasn't as concerned about the fans as much as Bruce and Iron Maiden are. Most bands would have thrown a fit and walked off stage. Sharon made a stupid attempt to make Maiden look bad, but they came out on top, while she has lost most of the tiny amount of respect that she once had from the fans. I don't think she ever had any real self-respect or dignity in the first place.

Bruce d***inson is still a jerk (he did instigate this whole ordeal if you've been paying attention, his own bassist has apologized for d***insons antics) but Sharon Osbournes response came at the expense of the rest of the band (who are good guys) and that is just childish Sharon was too cowardly to confront d***inson herself so she had her staff, her ugly daughter and "Bury your Dead" of all people do her fighting for her.....

Ozzfest is an over priced joke, bands get ("invited" to play if they have a certain amount of cash to pay for the spot & tour under the name Ozzfest). I certainly didn't like Sharon when she'd talked to her little rat of a dog(s) & I definitely dislike her now that she's pull these stunts. What a dummy she is.

Sharon is like a tick on ozzy's a$$ sucking him dry of every drop of blood and dignity he has left. If Ozzy is smart he will take Sharons stupid appearing on Oprah a$$ out in the middle of Time's Square choke her a$$ out and put her on her knee's to do what she was put on this planet for. After finding out Jada Pickett "Smith" was appearing on the Ozzfest here in Dallas Ive personally decided to never attend another one again. Once again a woman has ruined another great artist : first Yoko (beatles), then Valerie Bertinelli,(Van Halen),Tawni Katain,(Whitesnake) now bigmouth,blowhard Sharon. I hate to say this but if Ozzy doesnt get this b**** under control, I hope Zakk Wilde is smart enough to start distancing himself from this whole thing even though him and ozzy are as close as they are.

whikle on the other hand, we have sharons defensive comments that, not suprisingly, hint that she really only cares about ozzfest's dignity, which has CLEARLY been lost in all of this.
