According to a posting on rock photographer Ross Halfin's web site, OZZY OSBOURNE has recorded a cover of JOHN LENNON's "How", which Ross was lucky enough to hear.
Ozzy was due to release Disc Four, "Under Covers", from the "Prince of Darkness", box set on as a separate CD this summer, featuring additional tracks that were not included on the original box set. Ozzy's current list of "unreleased covers" includes the following:
JOHN LENNON - "How"
JEFF BECK - "Hi Ho Silver Lining"
JOE WALSH - "Rocky Mountain Way"
JOHN LENNON - "Woman"
MOODY BLUES - "Go Now"
Although no official release date has yet been announced for the "Under Covers" CD, Amazon.com is currently listing this item for an October 4, 2005 release.

I understand ozzy likes the beatles... thats cool... but doing beatles/lennon covers just isn't metal. Plus he keeps doing classic rock covers like that one mountain song that he should leave be... although he probably does these because. A: he cant think of new material, and most of his 80s stuff wasnt written by him anyways. B: the damn record company won't let zakk wylde write guitar parts for him. C: The record company wants a profit and ozzy's too f***ed on drugs to realize he needs to get back to the good stuff.

f*** off c***. The reason you release a box set is so your fans get bonus material. You don't go and release a special edition disc from that set to give them the extra songs. When it comes to the Osbournes, it's all about the money and f*** the music!
