Ozzy Tells Doctor To Go Fuck Himself

Launch Radio Networks reports: BLACK SABBATH returned to Ozzfest yesterday (Thursday, August 4) after missing several dates due to an ailing Ozzy Osbourne. The group did their full headlining set at the DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan, with Osbourne warning the crowd early on, "If my voice breaks up from time to time, it's not my fault. I'm sick, as you know, but I told the doctor to go f**k himself. I'm doing the best I can, babes." BLACK SABBATH missed shows in Holmdel, New Jersey, on July 27; Noblesville, Indiana, on Sunday (July 31); and Columbus, Ohio, on Tuesday (August 2).
Osbourne's voice was noticeably rough yesterday, though he was in otherwise energetic form, mooning the audience at the start of the show, tossing a bucket of water on the front rows later on, and jumping around throughout.
Specific details about Osbourne's ailment have not been revealed, but sources told Launch it's primarily a throat problem.
Ozzfest continues tomorrow (Saturday, August 6) in East Troy, Wisconsin. However, Sunday's (August 7) show in Somerset, Wisconsin, has already been rescheduled to September 10, to give Osbourne a day off to rest his voice.

It'll be a sad day when Ozzy does throw in the towel. Ozzy does oddly look and sound better however, especially after that ATV accident (his health was improving in 02 prior to the accident as well if memory serves) so in short I admire his determination.
Ozzy has never been one to take good advice like calling it a day, which he should.....But I'll champion him as long as he's at it because it takes balls and a love of performing to do what he does for as long as he has (he's had enough money to say "i'm retiring" for awhile) and it reflects well on the metal community, as loyalty (much like in the punk scene) is how many bands reach greatness...Not like the here today gone tomorrow disposable pop acts who end up a flash in the pan of musical history.

I saw Ozzy in Detroit and he kicked a$$ none the less. If the early bands on the second stage kicked half as much a$$ as he did i would say that was the best concert i've ever been too. You d***s that say ozzy should throw in the towel need to learn a little respect for your elders cause they still rock harder than most of the bands all you a$$holes always say are better than the originators of metal.

do yourself a favor and retire. this sickness is clearly f***ing you up.
you recorded great music in the past, no denying that. but if you are sick and can't perform upto par then throw in the towel. you are old, you had a good career and made millions of dollars. etc.
